Christian Church, as it is supposed to be

The experience of love of Christ causes gradual  "realigning" of an abused individual i.e. his real Self opens up like a flower and expands, "flipside" becoming less troublesome.

The last scene depicts an ideal situation of developing relationship with Christ via being in normal (Christ-centred) church with a normal (non-narcissistic) priest.

While this process of gradual realigning towards Christ is true for all, abused and not, for an abused (with cPTSD) individual much more is at stake when he begins trusting God and His Church. He did not have a secure attachment when he was a child; very often Christ is the first truly secure attachment for such an individual.
